Video tutorial — coming soon
Follow the written steps and screenshots below while the video is being prepared.
Before you begin
Decide how the reader should receive this book. File access, delivery responsibilities and pricing depend on that choice. Check your rights for each format; digital permission does not automatically include print permission.
Understand the three selling formats
- PDF download: readers obtain the book file. Do not use it if your permission only allows online reading.
- Online exclusive: readers access the purchased book through their Bookshelf. This is not a downloadable-file offer.
- Physical book: you already have stock and are responsible for supplying those copies according to the order workflow.
Treat print on demand separately
A printed-edition request asks for a separate production-ready edition. It does not change the online or downloadable price, and submitting the request does not make print ordering available immediately.
The print file, style, rights and review all need to be suitable. Follow Prepare a print interior before enabling a request.
Printing and delivery are part of the printed order calculation. Do not describe your digital price as the complete delivered price of a printed book.
Enter a clear price
- Check which format is currently selected and read the price label.
- Enter the amount in the displayed currency. Use a discount only when you intend a genuine lower selling price.
- Review the customer-facing listing after approval to confirm that its edition and price agree.
Check your result
- Readers can understand whether they are buying a download, online access or a physical copy.
- You have not promised the same file access for every edition.
- The digital price and printed-copy earnings are not accidentally treated as the same setting.
Changing an existing edition
Changing a format affects what new customers expect to receive. Review existing-reader access before replacing files or pausing new purchases. If changing an established edition would alter previous buyers’ access, ask support for the appropriate approach first.
