Video tutorial — coming soon
Follow the written steps and screenshots below while the video is being prepared.
Before you begin
Selling and contributing are not the same thing. A community contributor can share permitted material; seller access provides the book-selling workspace. You do not need to create an author identity simply because you upload a book.
Have an email address you can access, your public store details and permission to distribute the books you intend to offer. An author, publisher and account holder can be different people.
Set up your account
- Open My Account and sign in, or use the available registration option. Keep your login details private.
- Open the Become a Seller option if seller access is not already active. Read the information shown and complete the required application fields.
- Submit your application once. If access is awaiting review, wait for the account’s status to change or ask support about the existing application rather than creating duplicate accounts.
Recognise your seller workspace
Once seller access is available, your account provides actions such as Seller Dashboard, Add Book, Manage Books, Seller Orders and Store Settings. Available actions depend on your account permissions.
If the page says Share Book rather than Add Book, you may be using the contributor workflow. Check your account access before trying to sell a book.
Seller registration is not permission to publish someone else’s work. Confirm the relevant digital and print rights separately.
Check your result
- You can sign in using the intended account.
- Your store name and contact information are accurate.
- The seller actions you need are available; no second account is necessary.
If something is missing
Sign out and back into the correct account before reporting missing access. If seller approval or an application field is unclear, contact support with the account email and the step you reached. Never send your password.
