How to use these examples
Use these original Ketabona examples to understand file roles, typography and print preparation. They are educational references, not finished books to submit as your own work and not confirmation of printer approval. These are PDFs, not editable Word templates.
Start with the reading sample. The print interior is already in production order; it is not the file to use for ordinary on-screen reading. Do not reverse it again.

1. Read the Pashto sample
د باران تر شا — Beyond the Rain. Open this version to read the sample and inspect the typography, chapter order and page layout. Its 32 pages are in normal reading order. This is the reference copy to compare with a printed proof, not the prepared production-order interior.
2. Inspect the print-order interior
This separate PDF contains the same 32 pages, already reordered for this right-to-left print example. Its first PDF page is the final blank page, and its last PDF page is the title page. Printed page numbers may therefore descend when you move forward through the PDF viewer. This is intentional for this example.
Do not reverse this file again. Do not apply its page order automatically to another book: that book may already be prepared correctly. Confirm the production setup for each edition.
3. Compare the matching full cover
This is one complete cover page: front, spine and back. It matches this sample’s 32-page, 6 × 9 inch paperback specification. The interior PDF pages measure 6.25 × 9.25 inches, including bleed. The complete cover measures 892 × 666 points.
Changing the page count, final size, paper or binding can change the cover dimensions. Do not use this cover as a universal template for another book.
4. Learn the layout terms
This illustrated English-language reference explains trim, bleed, safe areas and cover panels using paperback and magazine diagrams. It is a separate learning guide, not the book interior or a production cover. Its left-to-right cover diagram is not the orientation of the Pashto cover above.
Before using any file for print
These examples have been checked locally for page dimensions and embedded fonts, but that is not printer validation or physical-proof approval. Prepare your own authorised files, use the correct print style, resolve warnings and review the resulting edition. A suitable physical proof remains important.
