Follow the written steps and screenshots below while the video is being prepared.

Before you begin

Decide the intended book size and print style before final layout. Keep the editable source and the reading PDF separate from the print PDF. Prepare the actual final version rather than repeatedly resizing an already exported file.

Prepare the final pages

For print-on-demand editions, use one interior PDF with individual pages, embedded fonts, no password protection and no crop or trim marks. Include the title pages and any intentional blanks. Use the specification approved for the chosen package rather than assuming A4 or US Letter will fit.

Keep important content safely inside the trimmed area. Artwork intended to reach an edge needs the correct bleed setup. Use images at an appropriate effective resolution; Around 300 ppi at final print size is a useful target.

Do not add a generic bleed amount or convert the colour space simply because another printer recommends it. Match the selected package and the current supplier guidance.

Upload the print PDF separately

  1. Open the book’s edit form and the printed-edition request section.
  2. Choose the available print style and upload the final pages using PDF for printing.
  3. Confirm that you hold the print rights and read the file-check result.
  4. If a check requests manual review, resolve it with Ketabona before treating the file as ready.

Understand the four review stages

A local check does not prove that the printer accepts the file. Printer acceptance also does not prove that every page looks right. Review the final files and, where possible, a physical proof before offering the edition widely.

Check your result

  • The selected style and PDF page size agree.
  • The final page count is known and the cover can be prepared against it.
  • No content is accidentally clipped, missing or out of order.
  • Any unresolved warning is still treated as a warning—not as approval.

If the printer rejects the file

Record the exact message, selected print style and measured page size. Compare these with the intended package. Do not keep switching formats until a warning disappears; that can produce a technically accepted but unwanted book.

For print-format questions, contact Ketabona with the selected print style and the exact file-check message.
